Previous owner of our practice, Mr Gordon Brownbill has sadly passed away.
“All at Brownbills Optometrists Ltd are saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Gordon Brownbill. Gordon and his wife Connie became the 3rd owners of the popular Ashford Optician practice in the 1960s before selling it to Huw and I on his retirement in 1994. Like many of our patients who still remember Mr Brownbill, we shall always remember Gordon as the caring and kind gentleman he was. In his clinical work he was one of the first Opticians to fit contact lenses in Kent and was very much a conscientious practitioner of his era.
