A huge congratulations to our Senior Optometrist AJ Bester, who has achieved his Therapeutic Prescribing Diploma, a unique independent prescribing qualification for optometrists.
AJ is now one of a few authorised practitioners in East Kent with the ability to prescribe medications typically reserved for doctors or consultants. With this qualification, he can now offer patients direct access to prescription medication for ocular conditions bypassing lengthy hospital or doctor visits.
AJ said: “I am very much looking forward to seeing the positive impact this will have on the well-being of our community.”
