Brownbills Optometrists is an Eye Promise Practice

Apr 3rd 2024

We are delighted to be recognised as an Eye Promise Practice

Eye Promise is a national code of conduct, regulated by the Association of Optometrists, and founded to ensure quality eye care. Our participation showcases our long term commitment to providing excellent service and quality care to all our patients.

As an Eye Promise Practice, we promise to:

Always put long-term eye care first

Our highest priority is taking care of your eyes in the long term, and protecting your vision. We achieve this through thorough examinations with our expert practitioners and the use of the latest technology to ensure a proactive approach.

Give you, our patients, as much time in the consultancy chair as your needs require

Everyone’s eyes are different. No matter what your eye history or your general health, we promise to make sure you get the time you need and never feel rushed.

Always try to offer repeat appointments with the same practitioner.

We like to ensure a longstanding bond between patient and practitioner. With that in mind, we will always make an effort to book you in with an optometrist you’re used to, creating a better experience for you and optometrist alike.

Only recommend eyewear that will benefit you, and never up-sell unnecessary products or services.

As an Eye Promise Practice, we have made a commitment to only recommend solutions that will genuinely add value to you – whether helping you achieve better vision for particular tasks, or helping you achieve the look you’ve always wanted to try!

Use state of the art imaging equipment as a way of monitoring your long-term eye health.

Modern advances in technology mean that we can be even more proactive than before, and use equipment to help us build a better picture of your eye health over the years. While the hope is always that your eyes will look healthy, using the right diagnostic tools means that anything that does need to be found is spotted and dealt with at the earliest opportunity.
